🎉 Celebration for Having the Quran

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌۭ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٥٧

Translation:

O men, there has come to you an advice from your Lord, and a cure for the ailments of your hearts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌۭ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

Say, “With the grace of Allah and with His mercy (this book has been revealed). So they should rejoice in it. It is much better than that (wealth) which they accumulate.

  • Regarding this, there is a Hadith from Sayyidna Anas ؓ عنہ where it has been reported that the Holy Prophet ﷺ said, فضل the :fadl (grace) of Allah denotes the Qur’an and: رحمہ : rahmah (mercy) means that you were blessed with the taufiq (ability) of reciting the Qur’an and acting in accordance with it.’
    (Ruh al-Ma ani from Ibn Marduwayh)
  • Sayyidna Abdullah ibn Abbas رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما narrates that fdll means the Qur’an, and rahmah refers to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. This interpretation finds support in the verse of the Holy Qur’an where it is said: وَمَا أَرْ‌سَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَ‌حْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ﴿107﴾
    (And We have not sent you [O Muhammad] except as mercy for the worlds – 21:107).
    However, the outcome of this too is no different from the earlier tafsir, because acting in accordance with the Qur’an, or Islam, ultimately reverts to following the lead given by the Holy Prophet ﷺ through his word and deed.
  • “فَبِذلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا” أَيْ بِالْقُرْآنِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا
    “Therefore, let them rejoice.” That is, with the Qur’an and Islam, let them rejoice.

Translation:
Keep yourself content with those who call their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure, and let not your eyes overlook them, seeking the splendor of the worldly life. And do not obey the one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and who has followed his desire and whose behavior has exceeded the limits.

🚀 1-Allah Chooses You for Good

1. Allah guides whom He wants good for

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا اسْتَعْمَلَهُ فَقِيلَ كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْمِلُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ يُوَفِّقُهُ لِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ

Translation:
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If Allah wills goodness for a servant, He puts him into action.” It was said, “How is he put into action, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “He is guided to righteous deeds before death.”

Translation:
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If Allah wills goodness for a servant, He puts him into action.” It was said, “How is he put into action, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “He is guided to righteous deeds before death.”

Every day is Eid (ALi-عَلِيٌّ كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ)

كُلُّ يَوْمٍ لا يَعْصِي اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْعَبْدُ فِيهِ فَهُوَ لنا عِيدٌ

عَنِ الغزالي وَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ كَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ لَمَّا رَأَى زِينَةَ النَّبَطِ بِالْعِرَاقِ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي أَظْهَرُوهُ قَالُوا يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ هَذَا يَوْمُ عِيدٍ لَهُمْ فَقَالَ: كُلُّ يَوْمٍ لَا يَعْصِي اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْعَبْدُ فِيهِ فَهُوَ لَنَا عِيدٌ
Translation:

Al-Ghazali reported: Ali, may Allah ennoble his face, when he saw the decorations of the Nabataeans in Iraq on the day of Eid, he said, “What is this they are showing?” They said, “O commander of the faithful, this is their day of celebration.” Ali said, “Every day in which Allah Almighty is not disobeyed is our celebration.”

✨ Every day you don’t disobey Allah is a real Eid

🌿4- Daily Success Formula (Hasan Al-Basri رحمه الله)

كلُ يومٍ لا يُعصى اللهُ فيه فهو عيدٌ

عَنْ ابْنِ رَجَبٍ قَالَ الحسن البصري رحمه الله تعالى كلُ يومٍ لا يُعصى اللهُ فيه فهو عيدٌ كلُّ يومٍ يَقطعُهُ المؤمنُ في طاعةِ مولاه و ذكرِهِ و شُكِرِهِ فهو له عيدٌ

Translation:
Ibn Rajab reported: Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Every day in which Allah is not disobeyed is a celebration. Every day the believer spends in obedience, servitude, remembrance, and gratitude is a celebration.”

عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَسَّلَ وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ وَدَنَا وَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ يَخْطُوهَا أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا

Translation:
Aws ibn Aws reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever performs a thorough ritual bath on Friday, proceeds at the earliest to the mosque, sits below the Imam and listens carefully without talking, he will have a reward for each step he took a year’s worth of fasting and praying.”

Translation:
Umar ibn al-Khattab reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah raises the status of people by this book, and by it He humbles others.”

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ أَهْلِينَ مِنْ النَّاسِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ هُمْ قَالَ هُمْ أَهْلُ الْقُرْآنِ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ وَخَاصَّتُهُ

Translation:
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has His own people among humanity.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are they?” The Prophet said, “They are the people of the Quran, the people of Allah and His chosen ones.”

Translation:
Uthman bin Affan reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.”

Translation:
Abu Sa’id reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The superiority of the words of Allah over all other words is like the superiority of Allah over His creation.”

✨10- Every Letter = 10 Rewards

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا لَا أَقُولُ الم حَرْفٌ وَلَكِنْ أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ وَمِيمٌ حَرْفٌ

Translation:
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.”

🛡️ 11-Protection Through the Quran

Protected from Hellfire 🔥

عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ جُعِلَ الْقُرْآنُ فِي إِهَابٍ ثُمَّ أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ مَا احْتَرَقَ

Translation:
‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If the Quran were placed in a leatherskin and then thrown into the fire, it would not burn.”

Al-Bayhaqi said: “It means whoever carries the Quran and recites it will never be touched by Hellfire.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَمْ يَفْقَهْ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ

Translation:
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “One has not understood the Quran if he reads it in less than three days.”

🧠 13-Understand, Don’t Rush the Quran

Allah listens attentively to beautiful recitation of the Qur’an

عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ أَذَنًا إِلَى الرَّجُلِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّوْتِ بِالْقُرْآنِ يَجْهَرُ بِهِ مِنْ صَاحِبِ الْقَيْنَةِ إِلَى قَيْنَتِهِ

Translation:
Fadalah ibn ‘Ubayd reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah listens more intently to a man reciting the Quran aloud in a beautiful voice than an employer of singers listens to his singers.”

🎶14- Beautiful Recitation Loved by Allah

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ مَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ حَسَنِ الصَّوْتِ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ يَجْهَرُ بِهِ

Translation:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah does not listen to anything as He does to the beautiful voice of a prophet, reciting the Quran aloud pleasantly.”

Recite with tears, humility, and beauty

عَنْ سَعْد بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ نَزَلَ بِحُزْنٍ فَإِذَا قَرَأْتُمُوهُ فَابْكُوا فَإِنْ لَمْ تَبْكُوا فَتَبَاكَوْا وَتَغَنَّوْا بِهِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِهِ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا

Translation:
Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, this Quran has descended with sadness. If you recite it, then weep. If you cannot weep, then feign weeping. Recite in a melodious tone, for whoever does not use a pleasant voice is not one of us.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ مَنْزِلَتَكَ عِنْدَ آخِرِ آيَةٍ تَقْرَأُ بِهَا

Translation:
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “It will be said to the companion of the Quran: Recite and ascend as you recited in the world! Verily, your rank is determined by the last verse you recite.”

16. Hold firmly to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah

عَنْ مَالِك أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ أَمْرَيْنِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا مَا تَمَسَّكْتُمْ بِهِمَا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّهِ

Translation:
Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I have left you with two matters which will never lead you astray, as long as you hold to them: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet.”

The Qur’an will intercede for its reciter

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَجِيءُ الْقُرْآنُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ حَلِّهِ فَيُلْبَسُ تَاجَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ زِدْهُ فَيُلْبَسُ حُلَّةَ الْكَرَامَةِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا رَبِّ ارْضَ عَنْهُ فَيَرْضَى عَنْهُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ اقْرَأْ وَارْقَ وَتُزَادُ بِكُلِّ آيَةٍ حَسَنَةً

Translation:
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The Quran will be brought on the Day of resurrection and it will say for its reciter: O Lord, decorate him. So he will be clothed with a crown of nobility. Then it will say: O Lord, give him more. So he will be clothed with a suit of nobility. Then it will say: O Lord, be pleased with him. So Allah will be pleased with him and He will say: Recite and rise up, be increased in goodness for every verse.”

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِي جَوْفِهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ كَالْبَيْتِ الْخَرِبِ

Translation:
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, one who does not hold anything from the Quran in his heart is like a ruined house.”
