foundation of successful life
Al-Quran
Taqwa Meaning :
Often, it is translated as “Fear of God”, and while fearing Allah is part of Taqwa, its meaning is deeper than this.
The linguistic meaning of Taqwa is “a shield or protective barrier”. It is to protect oneself from what angers Allah. Some scholars define Taqwa as placing a protective barrier between yourself and Allah’s punishment. Taqwa also means doing that which Allah has enjoined and avoiding that which He has forbidden.
Ibn Abbas said about,
(guidance for theMuttaqin) that it means,
“They are the believers who avoid Shirk with Allah and who work in His obedience.”
Ibn Abbas also said thatAl-Muttaqinmeans,
“Those who fear Allah’s punishment, which would result if they abandoned the true guidance that they recognize and know. They also hope in Allah’s mercy by believing in what He revealed.”
And fear Allah. And Allah teaches you. And Allah is Knowing of all things. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 282)
“Those who act upon what they know, Allah will guide them to that which they do not know
(Ahmed) (ibni Kathir )
O you who believe! If you have Taqwa of Allah, He will grant you Furqan (a criterion to judge between right and wrong). (8;29)

Surely the noblest of you, in Allah’s sight, is the one who is most pious of you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
– then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him. (Ali ‘Imran [3] : 76)
O you who believe, if you fear Allah, He will provide you with a criterion (to distinguish between right and wrong) and will write off your evil deeds and will forgive you. Allah is the Lord of great bounty.

Having said that, if one observes the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, then such things emanate from the piety of the hearts.( 22:32 )

The day you will see it, every suckling female will forget that which she suckles, and every female having pregnancy shall abort her fetus, and you will see people as if they are drunk, while they are not drunk, but Allah’s torment is (so) severe.(22:2)

Ibn Jarir recorded this. Those from this Ummah who do not acquire these qualities will be just like the People of the Scriptures whom Allah criticized, when He said,
(They did not forbid one another from the Munkar which they committed. ..)

Strive to be a true servant
“God Almighty says: Son of Adam, I created you to worship Me, so do not play around, and I have provided for your livelihood, so do not tire yourself. So seek Me and you will find Me; for if you find Me, you will find everything.” And if you die, you will lose everything, and I am dearer to you than everything.” ( ibni Kathir )
