Say (O Prophet): “If you really love Allah, then follow me, and Allah shall love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (3:31)

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,“When Allah loves a servant, he calls Gabriel and he says: Verily, I love this person so you should love him. Then Gabriel loves him and makes an announcement in the heavens, saying: Allah loves this person and you should love him. Thus, the dwellers of the heavens love him and he is honored on the earth.”
In another narration, the Prophet said, “When Allah is angry with a servant, he calls Gabriel and he says: I resent this person, so you should resent him. Then Gabriel resents him and makes an announcement in the heavens, saying: Verily, Allah resents this person, so you should resent him. Thus, they become resentful with him and he is hated on the earth.”

We did not send you (O prophet,) but to the entire mankind, as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most people do not know (saba34:28)
There is indeed a good model for you in the Messenger of Allah – for the one who has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah profusely.
O prophet, We have sent you as a witness and as a bearer of good news and a warner,
and as the one who calls (people) towards Allah with His permission, and as a luminous lamp.
So give good news to the believers that they are going to receive a huge bounty from Allah;
Allah has surely conferred favor on the believers when He raised in their midst a messenger from among themselves who recites to them His verses and makes them pure and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, while earlier, they were in open error.
Say, “If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your spouses and your clan and the wealth you have earned and the trade you apprehend will recede and the homes you like are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and Jihād in His way, then, wait until Allah comes with His command. Allah does not lead the sinning people to the right path.”
(And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed His grace, of the Prophets), and the Prophet sent the good news to theAnsariman.”
Love cause sadness & unrestness
Ibn Jarir recorded that Sa`id bin Jubayr said,
“An Ansari man came to the Messenger of Allah while feeling sad. The Prophet said to him, `Why do I see you sad?’
He said, `O Allah’s Prophet! I was contemplating about something.’
The Prophet said, `What is it?’
The Ansari said, `We come to you day and night, looking at your face and sitting by you. Tomorrow, you will be raised with the Prophets, and we will not be able to see you.’
The Prophet did not say anything, but later Jibril came down to him with thisAyah,
another narration
The Messenger said,
One is with those whom he loves.
Real love in obeying
